Refund policy


Return, Refund, and Exchange Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

All Akbar&Babar merchandise purchased online or from a branch, may be exchanged within three days of purchase. Acceptance for exchange is subject to the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused and in perfect condition, in its original packing. It will be inspected by Akbar and Babar representatives and their decision will be final in this regard, in case the condition is not deemed as new.
  • Tags must be intact.
  • Original receipt must be presented and surrendered.
  • The exchange must be done for an equivalent value in one transaction. No credit note will be issued, nor any amount be refunded if an exchange is done for an item of lesser value.
  • A purchase may only be exchanged once.
  • Sale, discounted, or promotional items cannot be exchanged.

Online Exchange

Items purchased online may be exchanged within three days of being delivered to you. You will need to bear the cost of sending the returned item back to Babar&Akbar, as well as for the delivery cost of the item sent in exchange. The procedure for online exchange is as follows:

1)      Please contact Akbar&Babar customer service via email or telephone and provide the following:

  1. Your order reference number
  2. Reason for exchange
  3. The codes of the article(s) you wish to receive in exchange

Our customer service agent will confirm if you are still eligible to exchange your purchase and provide you with an Exchange Reference number. The article will still be subject to physical inspection upon receipt back at Akbar&Babar.

We are unable to assume liability for damage or loss during transport, so please take care to package it in its original packing and send it through a reputable courier company.

3) Upon receipt at Akbar&Babar, the item returned will be inspected to ensure its condition is as new. You will then be notified of the dispatch of your exchange purchase, along with the additional amount you need to pay to cover a) Shipping charges and b) the Difference if the exchange purchase is of a higher amount. 

European Union 14-day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
